4th league game

Our performance against Falkland was the best of the season so far. After Simeon and Shiryar got off to a great start with a partnership of 56, Simeon was out for 24 by an excellent catch on the boundary, the run rate kept steady for the rest of the innings (but maybe a bit too slow for the T20 format). We reached 109 for 7 with Shiryar top scoring with an excellent 32 and was unlucky to be run out! Kishore also contributed 16.
Our bowling started off the best that we have seen all season with Falkland being 2 wickets down in the first 2 overs (with a wicket each for Simeon and Moeen) and only 20 runs after 6 overs. However, we struggled to break down their 3rd and 4th batsmen (partnership of 73). Ultimately this partnership took the game away from us as their lower order batsmen looked weak. Some good bowling performances also from Salman and Charan (2 / 1 wickets respectively).
Overall it was a fantastic effort by the boys and we were really starting to look like a good quality team.
