Reading 3s were away at J12 against Bradfield 1s

Reading batted first in overcast conditions and lost 5 very early wickets with some questionable umpiring from the opposition for some dismissals. Yatharth however was playing on a different wicket and held firm at his end mixing solid defence with an array of attacking strokes as he made a very impressive half century, ably supported by Arshdeep who batted extremely well displaying solid temperament. We were able to cross 150 after originally looking as if we were to be bowled out for under 75. Finishing on 163 from 33.1 overs.

Reading started very well with ball in hand, rolling through their top order with Ali taking 4 wickets in his 9-over spell and skipper Hatib also taking 3 wickets. Tom took 3 wickets towards the end of the game as we won by 54 runs to remain top of the table.
