Reading Cricket Club will be recognised for its facilities, sportsmanship, competitiveness and its social contribution to the local community. The club will be the place of choice for cricketers, supporters and volunteers alike within the county, with a vibrant Colts set-up feeding a thriving and successful Senior section.

On-field success will be matched off the field, with the club establishing itself as genuinely central to the local community, in facilities befitting Reading’s status as a major thriving and aspiring town.

Success will be measured in terms not only of match results, but also – among other things – increased membership, larger numbers of players playing representative cricket, more junior players graduating to the adult teams, greater proportion of the membership actively participating in club activities, and the facilities being used more frequently and widely.

Opinions of all members will be actively encouraged and all those connected with the club will work collaboratively and collectively making Reading Cricket Club a proud and passionate place to belong.
